Hi :) in case you didn't read my post in introductions, I had acute kidney failure due to trauma last year. Thanks to God my kidneys bounced back, so that is going well. But I'm not totally healthy. I was born with multiple AVMs throughout my body, including my lungs, which results in low oxygen, but since of the shunting, oxygen doesn't raise it. I also have GI issues that caused me to need an ostomy.

AVM's ??  Not sure what that is.

I've had a colostomy once but had the take down surgery.

Here's more about AVMs: http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arteriovenous_malformation
And my ostomy is for life most likely. That's great that you had a reversal :)

Hello fellow ostomate!   I've had four colostomies and 3 colostomies (have one of each now).  "Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in!"
