Me and my fiance are planning on going to a movie and Red Lobster this weekend, bc my fiance has to work on Valentine's Day. We also bought a $600 computer so that he can upload videos on his website faster and so I can play my games that didn't work on the other 3 computers we have. It was our gift to each other. lol I also have something special planned for him, but he has no clue!! I won't get into it here though!! lol ;D

So what does everyone else have planned for Valentine's Day?

Valentines Day is my daughter's birthday. She turns 5 this year. She will get a birthday balloon bouqet, chocolates and a card. Her birthday party will be at Chuck E Cheese, where she will have a birthday cake... however because her brother's birthday is 10 days after hers, they will celebrate at Chuck E Cheese together each with their own cake and song. I am not rich, im poor, so this is the easiest for me financially, and at their age they dont mind. They will each get their birthday presents on the day of their birthdays though....

So thats my VDay, all about my daughter... nothing really special for mommy planned.  :lol;

That sounds fun! I loved Chuck-E-Cheeses when I was younger, but we were SO poor that we couldn't even afford to go there! lol I bet your kids will have a BLAST!!  :2thumbsup;

When I read this:

On Sunday I'm having all the kids on the cul 'd sac come over to decorate heart cookies.  We did it last year and they had such fun.

I had to double check if it was really Rerun posting that.  >:D

But then I saw this:

  Oh, Rerun, what a great activity to do for the children!  You must be everybody's bestest Auntie!!!  :grouphug;

Potential Donors! :popcorn; (Just Kidding)

Then I knew it was indeed Rerun.  ;)

We plan to go to work and school, whatever the case may be.  Holidays like Valentine's Day aren't really a big deal to us.  What is a big deal is anytime we are off and preferably away somewhere as a family.  Just trying to figure out when one of those big deals might be coming but intuition says we don't have long to wait.

I don't know...Maybe it's just bc I'm still so young. They always made a big deal about Valentine's Day at school, and I've only been out for 2 years. I guess I'm just stuck in the past. lol

My wedding anniversary is tomorrow - Feb. 11 - so we usually celebrate it with Valentine's Day.
My sister just told me she just saw a Valentine that said:

front --

It's true, you've stolen my heart....

inside --

but don't even start thinking about my kidneys!!!

So, the Valentine cookie decorating party went well.  I made 36 cookies by myself because that can be messy even with just me.  So then I made the frosting.  White, pink and some other variations of white.  I had sprinkles and red hots and animal cookies for decorations.

Six kids showed up and they had a blast (as one put it).  We had lots of frosting left over so I put out Graham Crackers and they put frosting in between 2 of them.  I was left with 2 cookies and 2 graham crackers...

Then we watch the movie on Organ Donation.  (Just Kidding)   ;)
