Hey I hate infomercials because they aren't info at all, just long form commercials.  In a way they pay alot of the bills here so I shouldn't complain but I will anyway.  They suck!

I have always wanted the Magic Bullet.  What stopped me from buying was that they don't ship out of continental US.  When I do decide to buy, I will have to get it sent to my sister in Florida who will then mail it to me.
I did see it in Walmart, but I want the double set, with the blender and the juicer.

The best gift I ever bought was kind of a joke - it was a "AS SEEN ON TV" item and I bought it for my husband.

Hate whacking or spraying harmful chemicals at bugs in you home? Bug Wand : The Clean Quick and Safe way to be rid of bugs. The next time some creepy-crawly is discovered in your home or business, don't spray them, don't whack them, VAC them with the Bug Wand! No more messy splatter on the walls or ceilings. The Bug Wand creates a high-powered suction that captures unwanted pests. Once captured you can release them into the outdoors.
It is a safe, efficient and non-toxic alternative to costly, toxic bug sprays in your home. Extention Tube allows you to reach bugs up to two feet away!

We used it all the time - I hate disposing of spiders - this is the perfect solution! When that one broke after several years - we got another! (Jeeez now I sound like an infomercial!) Here's the link if you want one! http://www.bestofasseenontv.com/bugwand/bugwand.html

I have a friend who has the magic bullet.
I thought it was an adult toy when she told me the name.

That's the Silver Bullet.    :lol;

Remember the "Set it and forget it" rotisserie oven informercial? I bought one of them when I saw it in a store after seeing the informercial. I love it! Oh, and the George Forman grill. My parents got me one. It's great, too! I've been eying the magic bullet, but haven't given in on it yet.

Usually when I finally get the remote, infomercials are all that is on. I would look like a Godess, all I need is to get "Ripped in 90 Days". The "Total Gym" and "Hip Hop Abs" would give me the body I always wanted. I could make my family delicious and fast meals with that little gizmo that has the deep wells to pour things in and has easy clean up. My house would gleem with the Oxy line of cleaners. I would live longer if I would just filter all the air in my house. I think I need to do a colon cleanse. I don't want to die like Elvis or John Wayne. Thier colons weighed more than my seven year old. I just realized how sad my TV viewing habits are.  :rofl; :rofl; :rofl;

Are you sure? I thought it was "The Big Bullet"?

I bought a toy like this for my son one year. I think it's called a bug vac, and it has a magnifying glass that you can flip over where the bug gets sucked into and inspect the bug. He loved it...for about 3 days (gotta love ADHD!).

I thought I'd revive this thread since the holidays are approaching and the informercials are flying fast and furious!

I keep seeing ads for SHAMWOW! a chamois like cloth that can soak up tons of fluid, doesn't wear out, reusable, won't scratch anything - WOW!  :o
http://www.getshamwow.com/ - wonder if anyone on my Christmas list needs one.  ;D

I also saw some gadgets at the drug store - an old one that never seems to go away (or renew their commercials either) is The Clapper - It is a device that is activated by sound sensory, and will turn on and off any two appliances plugged into it. The Clapper Clap on! Clap Off!

That SHAMWOW guy annoys the carp out of me! Him and Tony Little. I impress myself with how fast I can find the mute button whenever I hear either of their voices.

Good idea.  Whoever gets my name for Secret Santa can get me the Peticure (I think that's what it's called).  Basically it's a Dremel for pets.  :)
