Caregiver saying hello

Hi everyone. My name is Marty. I take care of my son who has been on NxStage for over 2 years. My wife is the main bread earner in the house so I take on all of the house hold chores as well as take care of our son full time. We are from TN. I find that there is always something you miss or can still learn. Times can be hard depending on the situation. Its good to have a place to come to for support. I have been reading over many of your posts and this sounds like a great place to come to for questions. I'm grateful I found this forum.
Marty.

Welcome Marty. I am sure you will find this site a huge resource. I am trying to use it ahead of my actual need (physical). There seems like so much to learn, I don't know if I will ever be ready...not like I will have much of a choice...
But again welcome...

Marty!
How old is your son if you don't mind my asking?
You sound like you have your hands full. Please drop in regularly for a bit of time to decompress.
I look forward to getting to know you better!

Any man who is willing to take on all that is tops in my book. Caregiving is never easy, and going against the "norm" and being a stay-at-home dad is tough on the men who decide to do it.

Hi, Marty!
I was a care partner for my husband on NxStage. And I am also from the beautiful hills of East Tennessee.
You found a good community of helpful and caring folks.
