I wish I could take her. One of my cats (I have three cats, two small dogs) is already a yowler, so I'm used to the noise. She goes into the bathroom and screams several times a day for no reason. I hate the noise, but I'm used to it and it doesn't stop me from caring about the cat. My house is high-risk though because of my dachshund. Bella can be a bit aggressive and she's gotten into a few spats with my cats.

And now the only thing keeping me sane - putting her out at night - is out of the question. It was working SO well... and then the neighbor's dogs tunneled under the fence into our yard and completely destroyed her sense of security. She was already scared of everything (including birds) and this just tore it. She ended up on the roof for 36 hours until Andy finally yanked her down. Even he's getting to be at wit's end with her and that's saying a LOT - he's got far more patience than I do.

So... last resort. I'm actively on the lookout for an orange male kitten to keep her company. If that doesn't work then we'll be down to one cat again. An orange male cat.

Good health is just the slowest possible rate at which you can die.

The glass is neither half-full nor half-empty. The glass is just twice as large as it needs to be.
