Hi, I'm Arch. Glad to meet you.

  I've been on and off dialysis for the past 11, going on 12 years now. I had a dual transplant (kidney and pancreas) back in 2007, but I was back on dialysis since May of 2009. Needless to say, not a newbie.
  I'm 47, married, and living under protest in East Tennessee. My wife and I are trying to get some kind of subsidized apartment in Pinellas County, FL. -- that's Tampa, Clearwater, Saint Petersburg area.
  I'm sure you guys will get to know more than I could write here as time goes on. I welcome any and all to join in, no matter whether you agree or disagree. And if I might disagree with what you say, it doesn't mean I won't consider you one of my friends. So have a good night all of you, thanks for the site, and I'll talk more when I have more time to devote more of my attention to these boards.
  Slainte,
  Arch

Living under protest in beautiful East Tennessee?

Well, howdy neighbor. I've been a transplant to ET since January 20, 1970.

Welcome to IHD, Arch!

 :welcomesign;

Truly looking forward to getting to know you!

LOL!  Are you less likely to have to live under protest in Florida?  For your sake, I hope so!

Since you're a pro at this dialysis gig, I'm sure you will have a lot of valuable advice for those of us who are either pre-dialysis or are just getting started.  Thanks for taking the time to join.  Welcome!

Hello & Welcome Arch!  I'm from the Middle of Tenn (Nashville).  East Tenn is beautiful so I don't understand the "protest" part, but Im sure you Know!
Sorry about the failure of your dual transplant.  Wishing you luck for another one in the future.

Again Welcome & God Bless,

Welcome to IHD, Arch!  Great attitude - we all love a good, spirited discussion on here - but it's more fun if we don't take it to heart when we disagree!

Hi Arch...both ET and Fl are beautiful so I can't imagine protesting to either one!  But...to each their own.  Welcome to IHD and I'm looking forward to seeing your posts.
