Hello all,

I am a Davita Employee, but I am not going to post my position, as I think will get bombarded with questions, I dont want to answer.  The only reason I am here is to get an understanding as to what Dialysis is, and to keep me pushing through my job so that I can make sure I can help all the patients I can.  I dont want to patronize any of you, and say I am "I am so sorry you have this", b/c I am sure you hear it enough.  I am just hear to listen and give a different perspective.  I am not in a very high position of power, but I can always make suggestions as to what is needed.

I also know that whatever suggestions I make will be in vein, because Davita is out to make money, and none of us can change it.

I hope I can be a positive impact to this site, and in my spare time, I will keep as updated as possible.

Keep Fighting the Fight, b/c you are not the only ones who are doing it.

Going through life tied to a chair!

« Reply #4 on: January 30, 2007, 08:52:51 PM »

Welcome SandArtist to IHD.  I'm a DaVita Patient and I appreciate that they are For Profit.  They want to please the customer and I have a THING about wanting the same chair everytime.  DaVita gives me my chair and other centers who are hospital affiliated won't.

Now, DaVita is not perfect.......like I hate the Valentine's Drawing on the door with a needle (or arrow) in the heart and blood drops coming out.  TACKY!  I'll take a picture and post it on Thursday!

Anyway!  Welcome to IHD I'm sure you will find it interesting as well as entertaining.

Welcome glad to have another "Inside Man" The last Davita employee we had on here was able to get me a copy of the 2005 Davita Convention. You wouldn't be able to get me a copy of the 2006 convention could you. >:D No, serious can you?

Believe me you are not the only Davita employee on here, so you are not alone. Don't forget you have you own section (for employees) as well to rant and vent about us patients. So how about you go there and tell us something that pisses you off about us. >:D Here is the link: http://ihatedialysis.com/forum/index.php?board=30.0

Welcome to IHD!  :welcomesign;  As for not being "in a very high position of power", don't worry - it's amazing what can be accomplished when good-intentioned people pull together!  :cuddle;
