i search around but havent found anything even close to this for heart patients.  I would love to somehow figure how to make Bo feel better... I think a lot will change if we can get his anemia under control, but it's taking too long :(

anemia , heart , dialysis, it drives me crazy. you try your best, give them food that contains iron like red meat, black pudding and then they say it is not that kind of anemia. So they give him iron infusions-and his body does not hold this long, so they try Epo. Every thing seems to go round and round in circles. it gets tiring. They do sort the anemia out but it takes time. Excuse me while I drop off. snozzzzzzzzzzzzzzz  I haven't found a heart site yet either.

ohhhhh boy billybags... do you got it right!!  geesh,, it's sooooooooo good when it's good but this anemia crap has got a grip on him.  Im 'sorta' thinking this last transfusion seems to be holding a bit better, but we'll find out after tomorrows blood draw.  It is so hard and i seriously wonder which of us will 'go' first.  sometimes i think im going to have a heart attach and be done with it..lol      But kinda really too  ::)

Boswife, did you find out any thing yet. I know they do not like giving too many iron infusions because they can be very toxic.

Thanks BB... No, not yet.  They did another test yesterday that takes a bit of time but his hemoglobin is at 8.7 which it's held (ha! sort of) and their hoping that in the next couple of days will go up.  He's getting iron loaded right now, and im wearing thin of wondering when they will find whats going on.  so sad :(
