WOO HOO NEW KIDNEY PEEING !!!(Transplant 23/10/07)

« on: January 25, 2007, 11:37:38 AM »

January 26th is Australia Day.

Where we celebrate all that is good about our nation, it's a public holiday all throughout the country and just a great excuse for a "piss-up"

It marks the landing of the First Fleet lead by Captain Artur Phillip into Sydney Cove on January 26th 1788.

So where ever you are in this great world of ours, celebrate with us, have a barbie, a lamington, some pavlova or at least a vegemite sandwich LOL

Hi Tamara........

I actually have a jar of Vegemite in my pantry!  (Here in Oregon)  I will remember to wash down a bit with a pint on the 26th!!

A toast.............................  " To people who like us, and people like us ! "

Uh Kelli I don't think you want to literally wash down Vegemite with a beer :)

the thought is apprieciated :)

I spent Australia Day very sedately.. stayed in bed (alone before you all get ideas!!) till late, then listened to the cricket until it was clear after about 25 minutes that England were even worse than the last game... and took it easy...

A nice "piss up" would be great but alas not for we dialysis types :(
