Oh, not that I've called for support more than 3 times in 6 months, but my city offers an emergency treatment unit (self-use).  Its attached to the homeD training center and anyone can drop in if they need to dialysis when their machine fails or they need assistance.

We have a similar setup here. The center has two training rooms. No more than two people train at any one time. One in room one in the am and vice versa. So there is always an open room. With two training nurses you can give your partner respite or have a backup should any of your system goes belly up. I've used it a number of times.
