no, I can't do home hemo, nor do I want to. I"m not sure if NxStage is what's used either, but that's another thing all together.  With my eyesight, I can't do my own needles, and my mother refuses to do them.  I can't blame her.  Sticking me with a needle is the only thing she ever refused to do.  For the first year and 9 months, I was not allowed to do my own dialysis, as I was too young, so my mom did everything.  She's my hero, for so many reasons.  She looked after me when I was a kid, and now she's working on losing weight so she can be a paired donor for me.
