Sickness doesn't change who I am

First, I want to say this is a great place for information. My name is Dionne, from SC. I have been on peritoneal dialysis since 10/10. It hasn't been easy especially as a single parent of 3 kids under 10. I hate being on the machine all night, especially when school is in and I need to be off by a certain time, which means I have to be on by a certain time at night. It feels like being locked up every night. But,...I'm still-a-diva and I wont let this dialysis get me down.
I look forward to the future and the future posts.

Hello & Welcome Dionne! You have come to the right place for sure! Wow, PD and 3 youngun's all under the age of 10? You really got your hands full, but hey, You are getting it done, right? I know it has been hard for you but you should be very proud that you CAN & ARE doing what you need to do! So many wouldnt bother with it, but pulled up your Big Girl Britches and are doing it.
There are others on this site who are single parents and doing their own D. too. Im sure they could help you out alot with what they have gone through!
Again welcome & you are amoung friends here!
