I am know as Kevno on a few renal sites.  This is the short story of my life so far.  Was born with only One Kidney. Which the doctors only found out about when I was Six years old.  I was always ill up to then. IF the Doctors would have found out what was wrong with me earier I would have never been on dialysis.
They tried to save my kidney from the age of six to the age of ten. Then June 1977 when I was ten, I was put on Haemo. I hated it so much, had to be held down for the needles, my arm strapped to an board to keep it straight. Then 1981 had a transplant, lasted till May 26th 1988.  Went on CAPD for 12years.  The rest of the time I have been on Haemo. Which i Hate,  still have flash back from when I was a ten year old child.
