Happy Memorial Day Weekend everyone!

For the first time in a long time I actually have the time and inclination to grill this weekend. I am planning to grill some ribs (pork). I am looking for your favorite recipes and cooking suggestions - parboil? don't parboil? Thanks in advance folks!

Grilling with sauce I like to parboil.  Smoking with rub I do not.

Parboil I find that the meat comes off the rib better, but what to do depends how youprefer them to taste, dry rubbed or sauced. I vary between the two, but dry rubbed tends to have a saltier taste unless you make your own dry rub seasoning.

In my case, it depends what the blues clubs will be serving Monday.

Yes, you would like this area of Chicago, blues places all along the street playing live music, then there's the Blue Man group playing.

I was passing through our Ohio terminal to get some maintenance done on my truck and someone was taking donations to cover groceries and cook hamburgers on the grill. I gave ten dollars for two cheeseburgers and I forgot how much I love grilling out. They were wonderful. Who would ever think that a plain cheeseburger would taste so good and be appreciated as much as it was.  It has been a long time.

Darn, Jeans post is missing and so is my reply.
Jean, how do you cook ribs in a crock pot? In water, broth, bbqq sauce? Never heard of them being cooked that way till you mentioned it.
