My avatar is of me and my hubby,  i have great memories of the day we took that pic,  we were in a hotel and on our way to go see Prince (awesome)  :2thumbsup;

can anyone tell me why there are sometimes when the avatars are there and sometimes (most times) they are not,  :-\

You have asked me this before goofynina, I really think it's your computer, because I have never noticed that before and I haven't had any other reports of that. It make be your security settings with either your virus program or you browser settings, or what I really think it is... "Your computer hates you".  ;)

Sheeeeit,  my computer LOVES me,  it likes it when i play with it's floppy disk and hard drive. ;) ;)

It may be your internet connection.

Due to my living in a one horse town, not all areas had dsl or cable around here.

For a long time I was on dial up because of this and many a time would have trouble with avatars showing up on different sites.

Got cable connection and haven't had trouble with sites since then. ;D

As to my avatar, I stick with Calvin and Hobbs alot because it was the best cartoon in history IMO and I still miss it to this day. :-\

I must admit-I hear this song in my head every single day..

Artist: Bon Jovi
Album: Crush
Title: It's My Life

This ain't a song for the broken-hearted
No silent prayer for the faith-departed
I ain't gonna be just a face in the crowd
You're gonna hear my voice
When I shout it out loud

Chorus:
It's my life
It's now or never
I ain't gonna live forever
I just want to live while I'm alive
(It's my life)
My heart is like an open highway
Like Frankie said
I did it my way
I just wanna live while I'm alive
It's my life

Yes it's the Soup Nazi!  I've been watching Seinfeld DVD's the past few days.  I can always find something new to laugh at while watching the episodes.   :clap; :clap;  And the inside stories about the show and the characters are interesting also on the DVD's.

I chose Tweety Bird bc I've always loved him! He looks mean in this one, but it was the only one, so I chose it anyway!

Mine makes me feel pretty.  I was looking for a new avatar and found a program that would let me make my own animated avatar.  This was the 3rd or 4th one I made and it's my favorite.  Here are some of the others I made....

I picked mine b/c I am a scifi nerd.  And if there were a just and magnanimous God, the least he could do is make it so that there was not an 8 month delay between the BBC programmes and American cable.  *sigh*

oh, and I take horrid pictures of myself.  :)

Are you resisting the temptation to just download them all off the net?  So far, I am. . . but it's sooooo tempting!   >:D

I am just watching the shows as they are played here, and snatching up the DVD's when they come out.  At least Sci-fi is playing the new seasons.  Season 3 should be starting soon, but you can catch season 1 and 2 of the new series on BBC America.  Downloading them is nice and all, but it's not for me.  If I own it I want the real thing.  I'll wait to see it on TV like everyone else and then buy them.

season 2 should be arriving on my doorstep any day now.  so far, am resisting the urge to 'squee' like a crazed fangirl.

This current one is of me, my lil sis and her ex-boyfriend...who are still very good friends.
I see that pic and it makes me smile.  I had just bought my digital camera and we were goofing around.
No matter how bad I feel after dialysis.  I just have to remember I still have good days and that pic is proof.  :D  :beer1;

I love Futurama (sci-fi + a cartoon), I think it is really clever and I can relate to Fry. Cartoons normally make me feel better.

Over the years my single cherished cup of morning coffee has gotten stronger & stronger until it's like a 1/4 lb of fresh ground beans for one cup and I'm the only one who'll drink it.......hey , if you can only have one cup........

This is what I look like BEFORE I drink it...

This is my Yahoo avatar. I took a bunch of screenshots and put them all together in an Animation maker program. What do you think? I made this pic awhile back when I still had my long hair.
