I get D from the Davita Clinic in BERLIN, MD.. IMO they do  a excellent job. I do dislike the chairs. sitting in one for 4 hours is a bear.
I am a retired Master Chief Petty Officer. USCG, I retired in AUG 1978

oh boy Andrew, im with ya on the 'only thinking about dialysis! ' We just started in jan this year as well and i was overwhelmed with that very thing. Unbleavable!!! Hubbys the one on D, and im a needle phobic with OCD so that combination was hard to overcome.  It's now been just over 4 months home and we're settled in and FINALLY it's not my/our main focus and we're starting to live again.  Did you feel better on it though?  or was it just plain overwhelming.  Hubby did feel lots better and so we pushed through and now we're good with it, but !!!!!!  i wasnt worried about going back incenter as they were great and had friends there too  ;D .

Welcome Andrew!  We liked our in-center too, but just wanted to be home more!  We are doing NxStage and it absolutely can be frightening at first!  But now we have settled in and all is right with us now!  We do miss the staff and friends in the Center!  Occassionall, we pop in to say Hi and see how things are going!

You are in the right place and come here to ask anything!
