I would like to start a paperback book/book exchange on this site. I am an avid book reader. What this means is we will list books we have in our collections that we want to give to someone else.  Someone else will ask for the book and then shipping will happen and wha la we will have new books to read! I am always reading and acquiring books and sometimes I have no idea what to do with them when I am done and I do not want to keep them.
So:
1. Post a list of paperback books or other books you want to give to a new home:
        Title:author: brief synopsis ( I mean brief.)
2. Post or PM to the person listing that you want a certain book or you have a certain book.
3. Postage is between you all who are trading.  I would think if you trade book for book then you both pay for postage.  You decide among your selves how to do postage.
4. Addresses will be exchanged over PMs.  Do NOT post your address on the web site (for obvious reasons.)
5. Trade books and enjoy!
6. Any problems with the book exchange such as people not sending books, or books not being exchanged, or anything you cannot work out with a member of IHD.com, please notify me and I will notify IHD.com administrators and we will try to work it out.
(Be grown up about it.  If you exhange a book and forget to send it, admit it and send it.)

I am currently reading my paperback books and will have a list up within the week.

I collect:
Mercedes Lackey
Anne McCaffrey
Terry Goodkind
Dean Koontz
Star Wars
Star Trek
Babylon 5

Let me know what you have and we can trade or wheel and deal about books.

Oh sure, you tell me this after I took all my extras to Goodwill.  All I've got now is library books, and things I can't part with.  Good idea, though!

That's interesting but I tinned out my books and gave
a lot of them to the kidney foundation.

I have a ton to dump!  Mainly Nora Roberts and JD Robb - ok I know they're the same person, but I love her! Oh and Stephanie Plum, love her too!  I'll update soon with specific titles.

Here is a suggestion to Kitkatz's terrific  idea

Book givers: give title & author.

Intrested parties:  go to google.com & enter title & author & review & you can read a nice long review about the book you're interested in.

Saves typing & bandwidth.

I'll get some books together too & will ship free to USA buyers via media mail.
