"Asbestos Gelos"  (As-bes-tos yay-lohs) Greek. Literally, "fireproof laughter".  A term used by Homer for invincible laughter in the face of death and mortality.

Great news, tyefly! Good luck!
I remember using root-powder on all sorts of cuttings
and sometimes they developed roots  and sometimes they did not.

I had a very good experience today as well.
I have been trying to read scores of piano-music
which I had not come across before,
& play the piano with both hands at the same time
and it is finally working.

I am very pleased about this because I have no teacher
and I thought sometimes it might be too difficult.

Yesterday my wife and I hung an extending 10-power mirror on her bathroom wall. Tricky job because we live in a building with steel studs and a stud-finder doesn't work. That means lots of poking around.

After we finished with the mirror, we hung a new towel rack. Oops! The new brackets are 1/4 inch too far apart. Sigh. So we removed one bracket plus the mollys from the old rack, spackled all the holes, and called it a day. Then, dinner and a segment of "In Treatment". All this was more than I could do a few months ago, so I'm very happy.

Ha!  If you stay there forever eating all that food you'll never get into your tankini, let alone the pool!  You'll need the serenity of slow-paced Suffolk to help you unwind when you get home!

(Bring me some ice-cream flavour Oreo's!)

I get a warm fuzzy feeling from all these folks meeting up!  :clap;

We had our Solstice party last night and 35 folks showed up. It was good fun! Today I have simply taken the day off. That is a first in a long, long time. I did absolutely nothing productive and it felt GREAT!
