Absolutely beautiful!  I like hearing about those wonderful days when we were young and really enjoyed summer time!

Henry,
I'm mighty glad that you have this extra time while recuperating!

What a gem!

You should start a poetry thread, Henry!  Maybe we'd find some secret poets amongst our IHD members.  Hmmm....actually, that might be kinda cool, as long as we all promise not to laugh at our lame efforts.  Anyone want to start a poetry thread?

Henry, I really enjoyed your Bush verse.  I can just see little Snicklesnorters swimming and fishing during the Aussie summers, and then dreaming at night in their tin shacks.  Sounds like a wonderful place to get away...

I'd love to see Australia one day.  That's my dream.  I want to see Australia, and I want to have a granddaughter.  That's all I want in this life.

Have you ever been thinking of publishing a book

with your poetry and thoughts?

No.  I've never kept a copy of any of it and writing with the intent of getting it published would remove the spontaneity for me.

It's just an occasional bit of fun when the mood takes me.

What a pity!
It would be lovely if we could come across a book containing thoughts & poetry,
describing experiences, events, etc.  in Australia,
written by a person, who has his feet firmly on the ground
and has an artistic talent which keeps us interested to read...

I think I might give that one a miss!!!!  :urcrazy;
Cuddled by a crocodile sounds pretty lethal, even moreso than being cuddled by yourself!!!!!
