Goofynina and Epoman - Gone But Not Forgotten

WWW
« on: December 28, 2006, 10:28:30 AM »

I am typing this in my sister's home in Barbados.  Tomorrow will be the 100th anniversary of the birth of my father, so we will be having a big family get-together to signal the event.  I will be having dialysis here tomorrow in the same clinic where I had it last year.  Then I return to Tortola, British Virgin Islands on Monday and hopefully will have dialysis on Tuesday (not my normal day).
But these few days in my home country will be great!!

I'm with you Boxman I'm tired of the cold north even though we have had a mild winter so far.

I did have a great weekend!  it was really tremendous meeting with the family and celebrating the memory of my Dad - he was a larger than life Dad.
Here is the front of the commemorative booklet that we put together.  The picture is a picture of my daughter with Daddy - she was about 7 at the time.

Yes, I got my passport back!  I had left it in a store where I was buying something dutyfree.  My daughter came back 3 days after me and was able to bring it for me.
I don't know what I would have done without it.   (1) My country is very cautious about re-issuing passports and (2)My US visa is in there, and the US is even more cautious about re-issuing visas!
Thank God I got it back!
