Lostwife- wow you have a major road to go down.
I have IGA and was on PD for a year. I completely know what he is going through with the insomnia. I was on PD for 2 years and towards the end I was maybe getting 4 hours of sleep a night and working 40 hours a week. No good.
I had trouble with pulling off too much fluid also on PD. I was using 3 yellow bags a night most nights. Strangely enough I tended to feel better carrying more fluid.I would drink alot during the day....then use 3 yellow bags and feel 90% better the next day. Still couldn't sleep.
I hope things will get better once you sister arrives to help out.

All cap warning ahead:

I CANNOT BELIEVE THIS.

After being in screaming crying pain for over a week,  them still not finding the issue, they are TRYING TO SEND HIM HOME.  We are both furious.  His neph is trying to get him transferred to another hospital.  What is WRONG with these people?  When someone is in crazy pain they want to just send him home???

We were hoping a urologist would come and possibly do a scope and look for stones/gravel/whatever.  But NO - they looked at the CT scans and decided to NOT EVEN COME to the room to evaluate him!  I'm losing my mind here.  At what point is this malpractice???  My goodness, I just am in shock.

Sorry for the rant.  We are both crazy angry.
