I'm going to reintroduce myself because it's been such a long time since I've been on this site.  So much has happened I'm not sure where to begin.  When I stopped coming to IHD.com it was because I went in to have my left kidney removed (over a year ago now) and right after the surgery, an unknown blood clot went straight to my heart and I had a massive heart attack.  It took many months to recover, and a few months after that I developed pneumonia.  Since then I started pursuing a transplant.  I was weeks away from the assessment when I got a phone call from the Medical University of South Carolina, telling me that I will not be getting a kidney unless I agree to a heart transplant as well.  Now I am a couple of weeks away from the assessment for the heart and kidney transplant.  I have great hope and some fears, but I know, thanks to all of you, I'm not alone.

OMG Carla, I'm so sorry but this site is so big anymore I don't notice when someone goes missing.  I wish we had better control over that.

I'm glad you are back and best wishes to you and your transplants.

Hi, Carla!  Wow, it sounds like the universe owes you one very big break. I am new here so I didn't know you from before, but I'm really glad to see you've made your way back.

:cuddle; and many good thoughts coming your way.
