Excellent news!!!!
I am so happy your function is so good. I am hanging around 1.4 now.
Whoa that Prograf level is awful high. No wonder you were having troubles. My T-team told me I was toxic at 13 and cut me back.

Just got back from Stanford clinic for follow up appointment (I've been three times since released from the hospital).
Everything is looking really good. Creatinine 1.2; prograf level 7 (too low, will increase dosage); Hemo level 11.0; still on myfortic 360 ml and prednisone 12.5 mil. No nausea and no need for blood pressure medicine! I feel pretty darn good. The #1 most important difference that I noticed immediately after my transplant, Oct 6th, was "clarity of thought" as I've come to call it. I can think crystal clearly again. It's the most amazing feeling and one I never expected. I need to drink more water to help the creatinine go back down again. I'd like to hand it to IHD since because of you, I am far more educated in all this than your average bear.

Superb news, Sunny!
I was one of those unlucky sorts that felt no better, and actually a whole lot worse, after transplant. It has only been the last month or two that I can truly say that I am glad that I went through with it.
You sound like you are doing and feeling great! Long may it continue!

Good to see you, Sunny.
That first week or two is all about experimenting with the meds. Just when I think they have things right, they change something or add something! LOL I am thrilled you feel clear headed. That was one of the major things I noticed. Or maybe I finally cared enough to think and listen to people! Keep drinking! Some days it is hard to get that much fluid in. I guess that is our job right now. You are constantly in my thoughts. I am so glad this has happened. Take care!

Still doing really well.
My body is quickly improving too. My calcium levels are normal,I'm no longer anemic, cholesterol is lowering, glucose levels are lowering, parathyroid improving, and so many more improvements going on with my body that kidneys play so much a part of. The implications are far reaching. My sister is doing extremely well and recovering quickly. She still has incision pain, but is getting out and doing normal things. My prograff is 4 mill twice a day with a goal of 8, Myfortic is 360 mill twice a day, prednisone 5 mill per day. I am a little moody from the prednisone, but that's getting better since my dose has lowered. I have the Prograff tremors, but am told that will get better as they figure out my correct dosage. My doctor keeps reminding me to look at the longterm goal about 3 to 6 months out for feeling normal again.
