Finished planting the front yard----until I decide I want more flowers!   It looks nice and I am glad it is done.

All the utilities are ready to be transferred into my name for Monday when I sign and get possession of the house.

Only 3 hours of looking things up online and waiting on hold!

We took some stuff to the tip/recycling centre today and barely made a dent in the garage.  *sigh*

Of course, I say we but I mean Blokey drove and I carried everything to its appropriate skip (including big bulky heavy items) whilst he stood by the boot of the car watching me.  I can only imagine what other people were thinking about some six foot chap allowing his wifey to do all the heavy lifting! (Obviously he can't, what with still having to look after his fistula and having only recently had the hernia repaired!)

I managed to get a load of laundry in before work, and had a nice breakfast because I had  laid our clothes out the night before so I was less rushed.  And I woke up on time!  Yay!  Still only in Five minutes before work started, it is so hard for me to make it in ten minutes before my shift....but they're not paying me to be early, anyway,so....

I should rent myself out by the hour ... I'd make a lot of money what with being so well trained and perfect!

I went to work, spent six hours listening to the many hardships of teenage life (one day they will realise that teenage life is simples compared to adulthood!) and then I came home.  That's enough accomplishment for one day, methinks.

I have recently joined Planet fFtness, a gym for the non-athletic, any size, non-gym type people.  I REALLY like it there.  So today I spent 21 minutes on the tread mill and 12 minutes on the bike.  I did 1 minute on this crazy hard elliptical/jogger thing.  I'm working up to 30 min on the tread mill and 30 additional minutes of "stuff"  LOL  I always feel better after I go even on the days I only stay 15 minutes!

So far it's a good day!

My sister is graduating college and yesterday she was hanging and say bye to some friends. Well I bought some stuff to do her room up and was going to do it Friday. But I wasn't sure if I could get her out of the house. So I decided to surprise her yesterday night once she got home. She has a very good size room and I wanted to deck the whole thing out(as hopefully you can see with the pics ). She came home and noticed that I had put the 2012 on her do and was like oh cool...then she open the door and saw all i had done...including blowing up 40 balloons and she LOVED it!!!

Got it all worked out.  I went in to the school to "straighten them out" and ran into my son's English teacher who was just as aghast as I was.  She assured me she'd already put the "smart" back into them and all is well.     It's great to know there are teachers fighting for my son and that I didn't have to put up a big stink.  Plus, this morning while I was so twisted about all of this I went to the gym and walked on the tread mill.  I told myself to stay there until I'd calmed down a little.  I walked for over an hour!

Instead of blueberries, which the kids ate before I could use, I used chopped cherries that were a bit too soft to eat but still fine for cooking. The boys had one tonight and said they were really good. I like that it has as much oatmeal as flour. I have been so spacey/sleepy lately, so I completely boofed the steps, pouring the milk directly in with the (unstirred) dry ingredients, then panicking and just adding everything together and mixing by hand. I think they turned out exactly the same as they would have had I been more focused. It was very easy, and was all cleaned up well before the scones came out of the oven. I really should do this more often. I can't be bothered to calculate the exact cost for the seven scones I made, but I'm sure it would not work out to as much as the $14 I'd pay for that many scones from Whole Foods bakery.

I have been battling the google redirect virus for almost 2 months now. Yesterday I used HitmanPro and it found one issue that improved things but did not completely sort the problem. Ran Emsisoft and it found 4 trojans on my system. Still the problem was not fixed, so I uninstalled Mozilla and the virus seems to have uninstalled Flash. I then could not get my computer to download Mozilla again, finally just saved it and ran it from my desktop and the google redirect virus was back full-force. So I reset Mozilla (lucked in to discovering that this could be done) and I seem to be done with the stupid virus. I still have not dealt with Flash being taken off the computer, but I've had enough aggravation for the day and I am going to collapse in bed now. Ta!

I managed to keep the dressing on my stitches today, had $20 easily go down the drain thanks to dog chewing his harness (somehow he got to it and dragged it into his pen), cleaned up the house, and packed a little more into suit case.

I was part of a zombie walk with my sister! I group of about 70 people got together dress and acting like zombies walk from the park to the movie theater and back. It was a little over a mile round trip. We had people taking pics, honking and cheering us on, It brought a smile to many peoples faces and they even did a story in the news paper!! I did a hippy zombie but they want to do this again and I think I should have a sign on my back that say this is why you need to donate!!

My make up was make was made, glued on toilet paper, with foundation to cover it, red food coloring and black eyeshadow...

Yesterday I managed to Freecycle my Fleurville Mothership bag along with the last of our kiddie plates. I am trying to slowly empty out the house without giving sellable things away (we need the money) but also not being forced to move things we don't want or use anymore, and not throwing decent, usable items like the diaper bag away in desperation. I had not been on Freecycle for so long, and now they've made all of these fancy changes. It's much easier to use, but there is no room to give details about damage or special considerations. Also, our account did not carry over so I had to re-register. It was out of my life within 18 hours, and I have loads more storage in my kitchen now with those plates gone. Woo-hoo!

I think I have sold the Pottery Barn Kids lounge chair on Craigslist, the person just has to pick a time to meet. Yesterday, I also made scones, did laundry, and got Gwyn's Harley registered so he can finally ride it again. He wants to sell his car in CA and I am all for that (except for the fear of him riding in LA). I spent hours yesterday sending him apartment listings only to find that he is able to extend his current lease a month, and who knows, he could be leaving CA by that point.

Today ended up being "repair" day.  I have almost finished the pile of clothing that needed a button, a seam sewn, a hem stitched.  It does feel good to look at the end result and see what you did.   

Cariad, Beth and I love Freecycle.  Both for finding things and giving things.  It is a good idea and everyone benefits.

I have accomplished watching the Two Transformer movies I and II, playing ont he computer, and having a small dinner.  Hoo boy busy day!

Taking my pills an hour late on the worst possible day - when I have a doc appointment in the morning, with pre-appointment bloodwork.  Oh well, can't be helped now.

I vaccumed the inside of my car and then cleaned the leather seats with the good stuff and then cleaned all the other surfaces. The dash and seats didn't really need it, but the carpet did due to leaves. I just like a clean and organized interior. Bought a couple shirts that are suppose to have sun protection, came home, walked the dog, gave him a shower with the hose, went inside and took a shower myself and then fell asleep for 6 hours. Soooo I'll be up all night!

Cleaned up after the dog at 3:00 am due to him eating wifes sock.  Oh yeah, yesterday had to clean up after dog ate the other sock...
