He did not play against the Giants yesterday and broke the streak already.

Watching Eagles @ NYG.  Giants looking good!

Texans suck again. ::)

If J'ville doesn't win this game, they should hang their heads...biggest game in their history against a depleted Colts team.  This is their chance...they'd better not blow it.

GB w/o Rodgers against the juggernaut that is NE...can you spell r-o-u-t?

Wonder how Tim Tebow will do against Cowboys?  He may surprise us, but that would surprise me.

Amazing game.  If you're not a Giants fan, it was very entertaining.

Looks like they need a new Special Teams Coach.

It always makes me wince when a bad play by one person, especially a rookie, hands the other team the win.  Dodge must be feeling horrible.  Well, it makes the rest of the games just that much more important and potentially exciting.

However, the Cowboys pulled out a win which was not what I wanted to see.  It's been a generally sucky day. ::)

They also should have been ready for the onside kick.  I called it before they even lined up for the kick.  Tampa Bay lost so the Giants are still very much in the playoff picture.

YLGuy what do you think the Giants playoff chances with 2 important games coming up. I read abd heard that the Packers may have a chance of getting a wildcard berth depending on what happens. The Bears can conceivably play the Packers in the playoffs but that is a slim chance. Also the Bears are going up against the Eagles for 2nd and 3rd ranking.

The Giants site is saying they win against GB and they are in.  I have not checked to see if Rodgers is going to be back.

When the Bears play the Jets the Jets will be playing for wildcard seed number. They are both 10-4 teams so these games are very impotant.

BEARS WIN!  BEARS WIN!  Bears 38 Jets 34
I thought they weren't going to pull it off but the Bears did it. Anyone seen the game, I took a nap while the game was on. Oh well I'll have to see the replays tomorrow at D.

Well, believe it or not the Giants still have a chance.  If they win next week and the Bears beat GB then the Giants will be in.  I do have to hope this happens but in all honesty GB deserves to be in more than the Giants.  You can't lead the league in turnovers and expect to make post season play.  With that said...Go Bears.

Mike Singletary has been fired.  I don't know why, but that makes me really, really sad.

Awww, I hope that Mike can find another team he can join, preferably with the Bears may as defense coach or maybe in management.

I wonder how many more head coaches are going to find themselves without a job after next week, or even before the new year.  Gary Kubiak springs to mind.  Dunno if Jerry Jones is gonna keep a low profile guy like Jason Garrett.  He likes his HCs big and splashy if at all possible.

ESPN said that there is a possibility that up to 10 coaches are going to be shown the door.  One of the techs told me that the Giants were thinking about bringing on Cower.  I think Tom is a good coach.

Oh man, the Eagles got shot down!  They must be sick in Philly.

I was a Houston Oiler fan for their entire existence, and I remember the Warren Moon days of the run-and-shoot.  Man, that was some nice looking football.  Anyway, back then it was such a big deal that there was actually a black QB in the NFL.  It just struck me that in tonight's game, both QBs were black, and no one said a word, no one cared, no one thought it was odd enough that comment was warranted.  I know there have probably been many games in the past several years where both qbs were black, but I didn't really think about it until tonight, I don't know why.  But isn't it great?  Now, once we start letting the ladies play.... :clap;  Sorta like Sally Ride, the first American woman to go into space.  Now you see women all over the place in space, and no one comments, no one cares, it's no big deal.  That's great, too.

MM, I remember that time. I was a Tampa Bay Bucs fan back when they became a team and I remember very well the underappreciated Doug Williams and the wuss players getting hit in the numbers and whining that Williams threw too hard!

I am quite refreshed that "human" is the race.

Oh yeah, I remember Doug Williams!  But I didn't know that receivers complained that he threw too hard!  I'd be embarrassed to admit that if I were an NFL player.

It looks like the Giants are out with the Bears losing to the Packers. :( Does anyone think that the Saints are going to have it easy with Seahawks? The Packers is in a tough game against the Ragles. :boxing;

Yup, the Giants ended 10-6 and did not make the playoffs.  They truly gave it away leading the league in turnovers.  That will drive any coach crazy but I know that must have killed Coughlin. He helped Tiki with that.  Made him carry the ball high and tight. I believe someone quoted Coughlin as saying, "imagine how we would have done with half the turnovers?" Ya, just imagine. lol

I was thinking of you, YLGuy...sorry about the Giants.  It's a cruel world.

Saints will cruise over the Seahawks.  That Seahawk/Rams game was sheer hell to watch.

Eagles are looking vulnerable.

What happened to the Bears' offense?  Brian Urlacher is running around saying that the team didn't play like it was a playoff game because it wasn't a playoff game, which to my ear is code for, "We didn't really give a ****."  That did not go down well.

Jags must be sick.  They HAD it but blew their last three games.

Who called a time out when Cutler was 3rd and 15 and in the middle of the play, that was a 16 yard gain play, enough for 1st down. A playoff team does not make stupid mistakes like that.
