Hi  guys,

how you  all doing?

Just  wanted to  share  my  good  news,  today  I  got  another  back  up  call from (Vicky)v  transplant  hospital.
They  said it's  a  long  shot  but  it  could  happen.        Vicky  said   this  one  probably  won't  happen,  but  to  be  ready  because  it's  coming  in the  very  near  future.

    :pray;   for me!!!!       I'll keep you  posted

Thanks  Paris  and  oKarol  for your posts.

The  TX  dr  called me  a  few  hours  later  and  wanted to  discuss  the  donor.
He  said  donor  was  very  young  but  was  a high  risk viral donor.   I  asked  him if  he  meant  CMV  ir  ECD.  he   if  it  was  MCV  he  would  not  be  concerned  because  many  of  us  come in contact  with  it  at  some  point in our  life.       He  said  there  was  a chance of  AIDS  or  Hep  C.
I  had to  turn it  down,  when he  said  that.

Maybe  the  next  one is  mine.

Because you were an informed patient, you could make a wise decision.  I know that was hard to do, but you want a healthy kidney that will last for decades.   Are you doing ok with the decision?   Keeping you in my prayers.    :cuddle;
