I would like to take this opportunity to wish all those who work in the field of renal care a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. The staff in my centre are truly fantastic and this Christmas message comes from my heart.

I wish my center workers and staff a happy Christmas and a Merry New Year or whichever way they want or need it! You guys are the best. How about as a Christmas gift to me we warm up the place a little bit?

Anyone know what an appropriate gift would be to give the staff for christmas? I already gave them all a big box of chocolates a couple of months ago. Am not sure what to do for them at christmas...

I am making treat bags for everyone with a little ornament in the bag and a treat. My mom showed me how to make treat bags from envelopes. So everyone will get a treat and an ornament. 99 cent store has nice ornaments and sweets to put in the treat bags, so it is not that expensive.

I brought a tin of homemade brownies for the staff at my husband's dialysis unit. I think they were gone before I left the building!!! They returned my tin. Hint, Hint! They are very good to my husband and I feel that he is safe and comfortable when he is there.

As for gifts...I am making Christmas sugar cookies. Not sure if I am going to buy individual tins for each nurse or just take in a big platter full. I prefer the "personal touch" so I hope I can get the tins.

I hope the new California donors cards and DMV lists help to put you all out of work quickly!

This would (will!) be a wonderful day. Or, maybe most of us will support home dialysis patients in the nearer future.
