Not being American, or Muslim (I don't consider myself Christian either, for that matter), perhaps I have no right to say anything, but I do have to point a few things out..1. It's not a Mosque. It's a community center that just happens to be funded and run by an Imam. It's to have a culinary school, a basketball court, and a pool, and will be open to the public.

There is a Mosque at the Pentagon, where people also died on 9/11. Where are the protests for that Mosque? Why is it appropriate and this community center not appropriate?
The ad also claims that the mosque is being built as a monument to Islamic victory when it is actually being used as a cultural outreach center, to show that not all Muslims follow the extremist viewpoints of the religion.
