You are correct, kitkatz. Your turn.

P.S. I also like the version sang by Ivor Emmanuel.

Please take down the misletoe
Cause I don't wanna think about that right now
Cause everything I want is miles away
In a snow covered little town
My momma's in the kitchen, worrying about me
Season's greetings, hope you're well
Well I'm doing alright
If you were wondering
Lately I can never tell

For many hours and days that pass ever soon
The tides have caused the flame to dim
At last the arm is straight, the hand to the loom
Is this to end or just begin?

O.K. Here's one of mine from long ago, that I truly love:-

"It matters little now, xxxxxx
The past is in the eternal past
Our hearts will soon lie low, xxxxxx
Life's tide is ebbing out so fast
There is a future, oh, thank God!
Of life this is so small a part
'Tis dust to dust beneath the sod
But there, up there, 'tis heart to heart."

Thank you galvo.

Here is another song:

... He took her hand in his and shook the long hair
From his neck and he told her she’d been working much too hard
It was true that ever since the day
Her crazy man had passed away to the land of poet’s pride...

I'm up so here goes

I can see you
In my mind
The lost time
That you're saving
I could reach out
And touch you
What can I do?
The sun ain't shining

The Name of the Song is " The Essence " performed by " Firewind " off the Album " Allegiance "

BTW, I knew Gus G. (FW/Ozzy Osbourne guitarist) while I was still on D and he was playing small clubs for $14 a ticket. He's now a guitar hero and I've got a kidney and am back in school sans my ex-partner.

I dislike Fred Durst immensely, and this avatar and title are a joke. If you like Limp Bizquik as I call them, this is not here to offend you, it is here as a joke!

ChickenLittle, you have ignored me. So I shall forge ahead. Concentrate everyone!

"If your line is grounded and connections too
Have a talk with Jesus He’ll tell you what to do
Prayer and faith and promise mends a broken wand
Then your Soul is burning with a Pentecostal fire

Telephone to glory all the Georgia vine
I can feel the current moving down the line
Made by God the Father for his very own
You can talk to Jesus on ???."

Thank you, galvo.

Where did this song originate?
(It also has an unusual chorus line)

"There's a song that I recall
My mother sang to me:
Oh!
She sang it as she tucked me in
When I was ninety-three.
(harp plays a rising chord...)"
