I have polycystic kidney disease.  I have been diagnosed for about 20 years and was on hemodialysis for about a year.  I had problems with my access site--lots of infections and the fistula collapsed, so I started peritoneal dilaysis about three months ago.  A month ago I went on the night cycler and it seems to be working out okay.

I lost my job when I went on dalyisis and have been on disabllity ever since.  I volunteer to keep myself busy--at the Red Cross, the public library and a hospital.  I am hoping to find a part-time job.

I live with a kind, caring man called Larry.  He is everything I could hope for.  I was married for 28 years to a man whom I divorced nine years ago.  I also have bipolar disorder.
