This is SO emotional for me.  I am weeping as I type.  This will be nearly 5 years for me on IHD (I joined the September) and nearly 5 years on dialysis.  I cannot quantify what IHD meant to me then and what it means for me now.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, IHD!!!!!!!  :birthday;  :birthday;  :birthday;  :birthday;  :birthday;

5 years   :2thumbsup;    Where would my emotional health be if I hadn't found IHD?   There is so much I wouldn't know about if I were only getting information from my neph.   Truly, IHD changed my life.  I am a much better patient, I cope with things in a better way, and I continue to learn that I am not alone or crazy.  Restless legs is real.  Throwing up is real.  Insomnia is real.  Depression is real.  Thank you all for sharing your experiences.  Everything is easier when we can lean on each other.   A special thank you to Sluff for taking Epoman's vision and keeping it alive. You have done an exeptional job and we love you.  Also to Okarol, who spends countless hours to make this the best site on the internet.   If the two of you hadn't stepped up when we lost Epoman, we could have lost this whole community.   Thank you to each member who make IHD what it is.   My heart is full with love and respect for each of you.

Happy Birthday IHD!!    :yahoo;     :clap;     :2thumbsup;

Sorry ladies, I talked to youtube and they denied my video on the grounds of gross indecency and the fact that their reviewer was taken to the ER shortly after viewing my nudie run. I tried to plead that it was for such a good cause of such a noble and worthy site, but they said in the interests of the public health and mental wellbeing they just couldn't put it up......

Karol is truly the one who deserves most of the credit for keeping the forum alive. I have been driving truck for a year now and am lucky to have time to get on here and post. The vision and my motivation are still very much alive but I must confess that Karol carries much of the weight these days. So thank you Karol.

Thank you to the moderators also for if it were not for you, the admins would not have time enough in the day to do what we have to do.

Members without you we wouldn't exist, thank you and the most important thing you can do to help is to post often and welcome the new people to the board and spread the word at your clinic.

Pretty soon we will be getting ready for another holiday gift exchange so get your post count up now in order to be able to take part in this years gift exchange. Next year we are having a huge get together also so start saving your pennies now!

I truly love you all

I have cried with members when they suffer and I have rejoiced with you through the good times.

Thankyou to each and every one of you (even David13 wherever you are)!!

Thankyou to the moderators!!!

Thankyou to Epoman and the original brain behind this site.!

You have enriched my life and without you I would not have survived this disease!!!!

I love you all very much.
