Yup, the middle two lanes in the highest part of the bridge are green grates.  It's as much about the snow as it is about lowering wind resistance, though.  I prefer to drive on the grates in the winter, actually - better traction.

"Asbestos Gelos"  (As-bes-tos yay-lohs) Greek. Literally, "fireproof laughter".  A term used by Homer for invincible laughter in the face of death and mortality.

When it's warm we are at the track dirtbiking or hanging out on the St. Croix river. When it's cold we go to the Mall of America

Depending on the time of year, I like camping a lot. Summer time is for camping and fishing. But there are lots of other things to do one day trips around here. Banff National park is a couple hours away, I like to go to the zoo in Calgary or West Edmonton Mall. There's the Columbia Ice fields (that you only want to visit in the summer), Calgary Stampede, Lilac Festival, Salsa Festival, Dragon Boat races. In the winter I like to go quadding, I usually hit all  the Christmas craft shows and really enjoy all the Antique shows. I like to be busy especially on weekends. Not a sitter arounder.

well for me it depends on what time of year it is....in january the national western stock show, in summer the renaissance festival.
in the metro area (any time) there is, the zoo, natural history museum, wild life experience, coors brewery, and celestial seasonings . head for colorado springs and there are over 100 tourist type attractions. point your nose west and head for the mountains, skiing in winder and all kinds of stuff spring and summer. head north and you have rocky mountain national park, and lots of stuff in the city of estes park. colorado is just loaded.  ya'all come visit and i'll show you around  :clap;

My family has a long history with Estes Park- I caught my first rainbow trout there when I was six- hiked the mountain with the cross when I was 10, when I was 20 I managed the same hotel my grandparents managed in 1974, and got pregnant with my first child there. I have not been there in almost 20 years- but what a truly lovely place to live, vacation, just... breathe. I hope I get to come back to Colorado before I die. I have been alot of places- but none stayed with me like Estes Park.

We go into DC and to Georgetown.  M Street is really busy but lots of great shopping and places to eat.  Conor loves going to the National Mall and seeing all the monuments...I would, too if *I* was still in a stroller and could be wheeled around when I was too tired.  We also like to drive out to the mountains and look at the gorgeous scenery VA has to offer!
