I have been reading some of the old messages from last year around this time.  I was laughing at some of them and nodding my head at others.  There are several I think that go right with things we are talking about a year later.

I look back at Jamie's posts a lot as I still sometimes can't believe he is gone. I remember when I first met him in my dialysis unit and how he laughed when Ian (who's mother was on dialysis) stood on my scale but I didn't know. I was getting my weight and Jamie started laughing (he was already hooked up) because he saw it in my face my reaction at the weight lol

Also looking back I was reading on when someone people (who sound to me now to have been on Hemo for YEARS) just started dialysis. It amazes me to see them in a light where they are just new and learning. It makes me realize we all have been there.

I did the same thing in the beginning of last week. It is interesting to read the thoughts of others.
