RSNHope.org Presents: KidneyTalk!

"Streaming Health, Happiness and Hope over the Internet"

Hello members,

I thought some of you would like to hear my Internet Radio Show interview on Lori Hartwell's wonderful site www.RSNHope.org I was very honored to be asked by Lori to be a guest on her show. Some of Lori's past guests have been Actor/Comedian Howie Mandel, and Peter Quaife a former member of the popular British rock group “The Kinks”. The interview's main focus was on ihatedialysis.com but ilovenxstage.com was also talked about.

We recorded the show a couple of months ago so I would like to point out that this was recorded before www.mykidneygear.com went live, so I talked about how the IHD store is non-profit and it used to be, however since I launched www.mykidneygear.com the store is now indeed for profit.

If you would like to listen to the show please click the link below and let me know what you think.

http://www.rsnhope.org/programs/kidneytalkshows/Bill_Epoman_Halcomb/index.php

Oh, and while you are on RSNHope.org take a look around, as it is a wonderful site and Lori has done so much for the renal community. She truly is an amazing person.

Great interview!  I think you got to say everything that makes this site so enchanting.  We can come here and vent and also learn from others.  I'm glad the hosts were encouraging about this site.  You are the first person to stand up and say "I Hate Dialysis" and people listen and don't rebuke you for being negative.  I love being able to wear my T-Shirt that says "Dialysis Sucks." (In sign language)  That gives me power.

Very well spoken Epoman. It was an interesting talk show and you talked about the benefits of ihatedialysis very well. I would not be surprised if you gained some corporate sponsors from the attention and success of your website.

I feel proud to be part of your community and you have allowed us express views to people who understand what we are going through. I can explain things to my sister or friends, they show empathy, but do not really understand and members on this board do.

Ok Sandman and I just listened to it but listened to half before I had to go to dialysis but it was so long that I just finished listening to it now after dialysis. I just wanted to say good job Epoman :thumbup;

It is good when any dialysis patient gets to speak up for all dialysis patients! :2thumbsup;

Here is the link I already PM'd Epoman about and now am posting it here so any of you can listen and this way can SKIP the commercials.

Excellent job Epo, the interview was very informative.  RSN really needs to chuck that theme song in the dumpster though.  It sucks!

Yeah, I wasn't to happy with the "Hard Knock Life" (From the musical "Annie") song they chose for the music.  ::) But oh well, I guess it could have been worse.

They could have played "Whip it" by Devo or "Thriller" by Micheal Jackson.  >:D

How about "Story of my Life" by Smashmouth?  Fits the theme of this site so much better - and it always makes me laugh!
