Can someone tell me if hemorrhoids are more common with PD than with haemo?  I know they are when you are pregnant and wonder if the pressure from the 2 l fluid is bad for them.  They are hardly life threatening I know but can be very annoying with their repetitiveness.  Any thoughts?  Laxatives I guess - boo - more pills.

I'm sure this is a problem for many hemo patients, too, from the long hours of sitting.

Kiwifruit is the best - but not on the renal diet!  typical.

I shudder thinking of how bad it would be to suffer hemorrhoids and have to sit doing hemo (or some other form) for hours on end. Yikes! That's right up there with cramping in my book.
