I have been on PD almost a month now and have continually suffered from pretty bad reflux. I am wondering if anyone else suffers from a similar complaint and if so, do you have any suggestions to alleviate the problem.

If you are talking about heartburn type symptoms, I have also dealt with this.
Sometimes an antacid helps, but what has helped most is to eat smaller meals throughout the day. No more large meals stuffing myself in one sitting. If it continues, ask your doctor for a prescription antacid.

I take 20 mg of Omeprazole daily for reflux.  You can get a script or buy it over the counter.  I works great for me.  If I miss taking it for just a couple of days the reflux comes back though.

I take omeprazole 20 mg a day. Good stiff. I don't know if they started me on it because of dialysis issues or because my interior portions were 'messed" up when I had my "accident".  Been taking it almost three years now.  Tried the OTC version, after my insurance company only aproved a use for 120 days.(new insurance since Aug 1st. group plan) yeah like the problem goes away. The otc version works fine.

If you do nothing about regular reflux you'll finish up with Barrett's esophagus, a precancerous condition of your esophagus.
