Is it the Prograf or the Cellcept that causes your hair to fall out and be yucky?

Oh good.  I'm probably going to starting my Cellcept again pretty soon and I didn't want to go through the hair loss again.  Although, I'm sure he'll start me back at the dose I was on when I was told to stop it.  Or at least I hope he will.

Can you believe I have my surgery follow-up appointment on Thursday, a.k.a. Christmas Eve, morning?  Lab tomorrow.  F/U Thursday.  ugh.

Yeah, something that makes my hair grow back would be good!  Volumizing mousse only can do so much. . . .

Hey Draven!   I'm on 2 mg of Prograf twice a day now and I'm not having any side effects anymore.  Thank goodness.  I, too, have never heard of Certican.  I'll have to ask about that.

Thanks!

This is what I found so far on the US web search:
Another name, everolimus
It was in the FDA approval process reported in an Article from Aug 2004 at: http://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/12657.php

Novartis Pharma AG has received an "approvable" letter from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for Certican (everolimus) in combination with Neoral (cyclosporine, USP) MODIFIED, for the prevention of rejection episodes following heart or kidney transplantation.

However, I haven't found if this is a steroid free medication or not and no current news. All articles on Google are from 2004 on the first page for the search of the drug.
