I looked on IHD calendar and Chris isn't on the rest of this month. Is he saying he'll be gone a lone time? I asked him on FB. See if he answers. Chris, I have computer questions. Come home. (not really, mainly I just miss you.)

I got out after dark because I had to wait on transport to take me down (I hate that policcy). So I finally got out around 5:30 pm and had to go to the pharmacy to get some meds. When I got home, I had to prefill my pill boxes for the week aand after that fell asleep.
I have a home health nurse coming tomorrow to start checking up on me for a couple weeks or more depending how I am doing. Then hopefully the pharmacy will have the rest of my meds in.
Suppose to follow a special diet for awhile, but I still do not understand it and dietician was not helpful when I asked questions.

Still waiting on home health care nurse to come. All the pills I have to take now won't fit in pill box. I could have had a free one earlier this year when they were giving them out, but didn't take it because it was from a pharmacuetical company I don't use and passed by. Hind sight always 20/20 though.
Today I'll do laundry from hospital stay, swep the carpet due to cat's laying fur patches from horsing around, and may go to pharmacy to pik up the rest of my meds. Also need to update my meds list on my pc.
Might as well have gotten me one of those bubbles, I could not leave the rom to walk the halls and they wanted me to walkaround in the small room. Bathroom breaks counted to me, laps around room would like being doing the two step, 4 at the most in one direction. GI doc tells me I need to gain weight to heal better and fight off infections and I'm thinking N.S. Sherlock, but have been this way for years. Thanks for telling me something I did not know
This was a weird hospital stay in many respects. First day the midight nurses is arguing to me that I shouldn't be there and should have gone to my transplant hospital. Nothing like putting down the people you work for and the doctors you work with, Hospital now using generic immunosuppressants, yet some da's they give me the brand name. Lat day my local neph finally comes in and not her associate and puts on the chart finally not to use generic which her associate would not due. So now she's on my sh** list of docs
Like comeon you have that authority when you write a prescription, you have that same ability in the hospital. I don't want to go through some side effects that I may not ave had before and my transplant center does not want us switching because we are so far out. The center only will allow new tx patients to switch to generic since they just had their tx.
I did tell my doctor about the nurse who then brought in a hospital associate and then told them want happened. The hospital asked what was the name of the nurse and I said at 12 am I have no idea nor could I see the name on the whiteboard and I felt like crap! So they had to actually do some paperwork to find out. And this hospital is usally good to me, but even with this incident, still better than going to transplant center.
Thanks for all the replies

Your experience makes me realize that if a transplant patient gets hospitalized they should probably bring in their immunosuppressants with them, to avoid this conflict.

es, I will do that from now on if I plan to go there. I never had the problem before even last month when I was there. It irritates me when the nurses read off your meds as they put them into a cup and call it by the brand name when it is the generic form. There's a difference between the two especially in size and clor, not to mention how it's made.
