I have a '65 Mustang.  My daughter thinks it's just an old car.  I think it's a classic.  It has no air, no power steering, no radio, but it is so much fun to drive.
Anyone else have a classic?

That is neat. What color is it?
I love those old mustangs.
A friend and her husband has a red 65 mustang. They just keep it in the garage.
I don't have any, but wish I still had my favorite car I ever
owned, a 69 Chevy Malibu, was sort of tannish gold with a vinyl top.
Was first brand new car I ever bought. Always wish I'd kept it.

It's called prairie bronze, but it sounds like the same color as your Malibu.  When I was a kid we had a 66 Oldsmobile.  That's the car I wish my parents had kept.

My 2000 Firebird will be a classic in a few years.  I love my car.  It is red with racing stripes.  It was tricked out as a pace car for the California Speedway.  It is  convertible black top.  I look cool driving it. 
However it has a Gremlin in it.  The radio sometimes goes nuts, the alarm system cries for me occassionally when I set it, and the left hand window will not go up and down for me anymore.

I love Mustangs.  I had a '68 Mustang once.  If you ever get the chance to go to "Hot August Nights" in Reno you need to go.  The streets are lined with classic cars.  They have a parade of them every night; it is so cool.  Lots of old Mustangs there.

I drive a 77 Caprice, I love my boat of a car.  If I could I would own a classic Charger (General Lee all the way) or a Challenger.  If any of you have seen the new Challenger it is gonna be one sweet ride, and it has that classic look and feel to it unlike the new Charger.  If you haven't seen it go to www.dodge.com and check it out, I'm drolling over it.

CARS I love them!!  My current project car is my 1991 Corvette convertable!  I just had a ZZ-4 crate motor put in with all new fuel injection and intake... I also had nitrous put on.  Re-did the suspension and drive train too.  All the is left is the body which is in good condition just a few minor repairs then paint!  had it dynoed a few weeks after the motor replacement and I am getting about 410 horse power to the tires!  I will have to post some pics.

I love Mustangs, too.  I always wanted a Mustang Cobra when I was younger.  Or a Camaro.  But I'm so short that when I drive sports cars like Camaros I end up looking out under the steering wheel.  I'd still love one, though.  Now I drive an XTerra.  I like it, but it's not a classic.

When I was about 16 my uncle called and told me that he just bought a Corvette.  I was very excited, then I saw the car, it was a 1957 Corvette, it was BEAUTIFUL.  I told him, "Oh, I thought you got a new car."  Geez!  I was such a dork!!

I almost got my hands on a 1968 Camaro for $400 but the owner sold it before I could even get to an ATM machine.  :banghead;  Had freshly rebuilt 327 small block and posi rear.

But I LOVE old muscle cars.  Absolutely love them.  In fact, a buddy of mine is giving me a 1978 Pontiac Grand Prix, fixer upper.  Can't wait to start turning some wrenches on it.  ;)

Hubby has a '69 Chevy Stepside,  i never really thought much of it but when we take it out he sure gets alot of compliments on it, and even some offers to buy it too  :2thumbsup;  He has decided to sell it to the next person who offers him enough for it, so he can buy me an Expedition, i swear, i just love that man  :cuddle;

It is in really great shape.  I haven't done a thing to it.  I got a really good deal on it several months back.  It has a smaller engine, a 6 I think.  The interior is in really good condition.  it's all original except for a new paint job on '91.

My best friend's uncle has one that he's restored.  I want it!!!

Jbeany, I believe that body style of truck you are describing is what's called a "step side".  I love that body style because you can do so many modifications with them.
