I didnt see anything on the site about this but I wonder about the clotting factor.  Seems like whenever they stick something foreign into the body it tends to develop clots around it.  This device may really benefit those with poor veins as from what I gather it says there is less injury to the vessels.

Well I guess it would have the same risks as "Stents" they place now in heart valves. What I like is that it says the fistulas will be ready to use faster. But I believe this replaces the "Way" the artery and vein are connected, eliminating the "Purse String Suture Effect" which in turn will help the blood flow as well.
