November 5th will be the 1 year anniversary of my transplant and I was hoping you all would help me out...

Sometime around the 1st of the month I would like to send anyone who would be interested my sister-in-law's mailing address so that you all could send her a card telling her how absolutely wonderful, selfless and amazing she is for doing what she did for me.  I would also like you to tell her how you know me, a little (or a lot, your choice) about your situation whether you are a transplant recipient, a donor, waiting for a transplant, caregiver, etc.

My sis-in-law, like all other living donors I'm sure, is not one to talk about or boast about this wonderful gift she has given.  We don't speak on a daily or sometimes weekly basis and I really just want to drive home how thankful I am for all she's done and sacrificed for me and my family.  Because like all recipients it will be impossible to ever completely repay her.

Anyone interested in buying a card, a stamp and giving a little bit of your heart to a wonderful soul?   :)

Thank you all so much!  She will be surprised for sure!  Her birthday was Oct 4th and we still haven't had a chance to get together to take her and her husband to dinner.  But I bought her a really nice Dooney & Bourke (not sure if that's how you spell it) purse!  I can't wait to give it to her!   :clap;

I will send the address out around the 1st.

Add me to the list of folks who'll send a card.  What a great idea!  While she's great for donating, YOU are great for that Dooney & Bourke bag - that's awesome (as my grandkids would say)!

YES!   :yahoo;       I'll send everyone individual messages with her address tomorrow.  I know it takes the "out of country" people a little longer to get mail here, so I hope tomorrow is enough time.

Again, our anniversary date is November 5th!!!!

Thanks everyone!  I love and appreciate you all!   :grouphug;

OHHHHH   DO NOT mention the purse, as we have not yet found the time to get together.  She's been working 7 days a week apparently.  I'll remind everyone of this when I send the address.

Thanks again!
