Swine flu/our family

Our 10 yr old granddaughter was diagnosed with Swine Flu yesterday. She is on day three of fever. Now, the big problem is to keep her two sisters and brother from getting it. Lots of antiseptic gel and Lysol in their house! Kiera is confined to her room. Poor kid. Poor Mom and Dad!!

to you and your grand daughter and her family. Is she really sick with it or is it more of just an inconvenient fever thing??? Use lots of antiseptic and wear a mask if you are around her. There have been lots of cases of swine flu in our area but no diagnoses cases here in town. Not yet anyway.

Paris, that is terrible. For your own sake and yourhusbands tho, you need to stay away from their home. Hope it doesn't go from kid to kid, to kid, etc. And, I hope she gets better really fast.

Its a pig of a virus, excuse the pun. We also seem to have a lot of swine flue in England. My friend who picks her grandaughter up from school has got it, she has spent two days in bed and a week feeling awful. Hope your grandaughters school has been informed. They are closing down schools if there is an out break. You take extra care but it is some times unavoidable, you don't know who you are walking near in shops, buses any where. Has she been given Tamiflu?

Paris, you stay away from her. We have Las Vegas plans next weekend! Plus you do not need to get swine flu. Stay healthy!
I hope she gets better soon.

Granddaughter #2 now has it. She got the tamilflu and hopefully, she will get over it much quicker. Two down, two more kids in the same house! Everyone is walking around with antispectic wipes and washing hands over and over. Sick ones are confined and no one else can use their bathroom.
Hope Otto is doing ok. Lola, let us know when you can.

boo.....hissssss.....not good news. the problem with sickness in multiple children households is the sick one is usually contagious before you even know they are sick and by then it's too late...........hopefully everyone won't get it. especially mom and
dad.
to you paris. stay well.

Paris,
You must be so worried knowing your grandkids have swine flu. At least the doctors are taking good care of them and watching out for their health. It's hard when little children are sick. I hope you steer clear because we don't want you getting it.

We've had several cases of swine flu at our school! One parent told me it took the pharmacy nine hours of calling all the pharmacies in the area to find some tamiflu for her!
I hope your grandkiddos get well soon!

Thanks for all the good thoughts. I think everyone is on the mend and hopefully #4 grandkid in the house is showing no signs. Lots of disinfectents being used on every surface in their house. Everyone remember to cough into you elbow, not your hand! That is all the advice I have for now

So glad the kids are getting better, I hate it when the little ones are not up to par. Keep your distance for awhile to make sure the coast is clear.
