I always put my return address on it just in case it has to be returned to sender.

I'm about to send mine.  Are we supposed to put our name on the outside, or is it a surprise (the sender) until opened???

If you're posting outside your own country, you'll have to put your name and address on the parcel... Blasted Customs!..... :banghead;

Getting the heck out of town.

« Reply #252 on: November 14, 2009, 02:03:26 PM »

Ah, its the postal system.  Send love.  Not surprises!

I told all my friends (hehe both of them) in Houston that I wanted them   to each buy 10 dinners for the  Houston  Citywide Christmas Dinner.  If a secret santa is looking for something to give me, that'd be really the best present I could  have (well, that's be too m uch money so maybe  3 or 6 dinners (they cost about 3.33 per person).  All they would let me do is be part of the cleanup.  Duh!  I could cook.  (hush up Darth).  I sure hope they use paper plates.  Can you imagine washing thousands of plates?

Oh, and I forgot to wrap my gift with Christmas paper and its already gonna.  I'm sorry mystery person.

I'm sorry but I will not be able to mail my box until next week.  I still have one more thing to pick up and Cindy has gone to Memphis to
help Laura (our friend with bone cancer) pack up and move.  She sold
her two story, four bedroom, three bath house and is moving to an apartment.  I can't drive anymore because of my eyes and my grandsons both work.  She will be gone about a week.  So I will send it as soon as she gets home. Soooorry!!!

Hubby took his gift to the post office today and brought it back home to repackage and change a few things.  It was going to cost over $38 to post it!!!!  I have everything in a big bubble envelope now so hopefuly it will cost a lot less.  Whoever gets a gift from Newfoundland (NL) Canada DO NOT open the envelope. It is not wrapped inside!!!  Had to cut down on weight and space!!  Even had to change a couple of the gifts that were in there!!!

Neither can I, but this bag of chocolates slipped to the bottom of the freezer and it took archeological dig to get it out.

I  know who my Secret Santa is..... hehe.

Still don't know what's inside....  YET.
But have a good idea.  I'm having a cat scan on my kidney.  I'll ask the doc to  look at the package....

Yea, but I couldn't read the name of the town.  I finally  figured it out -- strange name and then I found someone on the list who lived there... hehe.  Now just to get the package x rayed.
