Have to agree with Twirl on Key Lime Cheesecake  :2thumbsup;

YUCKY! Oceanspray Cranberry Oatmeal.  :puke;

It' new and my mother tried to pawn it off on me because she didn't like it, then I tried it. Aftertaste is very bad!

   -glaucoma and surgery for that
     -cataract surgery twice on same eye (2000 - 2002). another one growing in good eye
     - vitrectomy in good eye post tx November 2003, totally blind for 4 months due to complications with meds and infection

Diagnosed with ESRD June 29, 1999
1st Dialysis - July 4, 1999
Last Dialysis - December 2, 2000

Kidney and Pancreas Transplant - December 3, 2000

Cataract Surgery on good eye - June 24, 2009
Knee Surgery 2010
2011/2012 in process of getting a guide dog
Guide Dog Training begins July 2, 2012 in NY
Guide Dog by end of July 2012
Next eye surgery late 2012 or 2013 if I feel like it
Home with Guide dog - July 27, 2012
Knee Surgery #2 - Oct 15, 2012

Nope, not a shortcake liker. I don't like the syrup, it's messy, dries my mouth out, and just to sugary for me. But I'll take you Blue Bell Ice Cream (banana pudding of course) and run  :2thumbsup; :rofl;

Although I am starting to like Licorice that I never liked before, just in small does. The Good N Plent Pink  and White as a kid always got me mike up with the Jordan Almonds.

Gonna have to put that up with the feelings I have about fish and seafood. YUCKY  :puke;

hen again I never was exposed to it as a kid and would never try it as a kid. All I can think about chicken feet is how my pet birds over the years were, not much to them and boney. It must have bone marrow that makes them good?

Had to fix my pet parakeets foot that was half bitten off by a pet conure parrot. Not much to them, but it did heal as a cleft foot.

When I was in South Africa, I was told by one of the locals that chicken feet is a traditional dish there, but of course I cannot remember which of the many cultural groups there claimed it as a tradition (Xhosa maybe?). This South African said he used to offer it to travelers visiting his place, but that North American/European/Australian/NZ foreigners were generally too grossed out to even try it, so it was not worth the effort.

I cannot remember who told me that they had tried it, and it was actually really bland. Must have been the prep.

I grew up with chicken foot soup...but they are pretty bland without lots of spices etc.  I go to chinese restaurants here and they serve them with a delicious sauce.  My friends from work used to go to dim sum with me and were disgusted at first but several ended up trying and liking them.  I'll try to find a photo of my niece eating one here in Toronto. 

Yummo to blackberry cobbler by the way...

How about red Thai chicken curry with coconut milk?

I'll just pass on the chicken foot soup but I love red Thai  chicken curry   but my all time favorite is green Thai curry (chicken or shrimp).  Mmmm, I think I'll see if their delivery man is still there.
