  Jean, I meant pry open the grilled cheese to put the frsh tomato slice in.  Yup, cheese goes in before you cook it.

   -glaucoma and surgery for that
     -cataract surgery twice on same eye (2000 - 2002). another one growing in good eye
     - vitrectomy in good eye post tx November 2003, totally blind for 4 months due to complications with meds and infection

Fresh pineapple...yum yum yum...also very yummy grilled on the BBQ and served either with main course or as dessert (I put a scoop of frozen yogurt on top)

New upper-arm fistula April 2008
Uldall-Cook catheter inserted May 2008
Haemo-dialysis, self care unit June 2008
(2 1/2 hours X 5 weekly)
Self-cannulated, 15 gauge blunts, buttonholes.
Living donor transplant (sister-in law Kathy) Feb. 2009
First failed kidney transplant removed Apr.  2009
Second trx doing great so far...all lab values in normal ranges

Around here, yucky!  The potato wedges weren't bad, though.  Gotta wonder how they can screw up fried chicken. . .

I agree jbeany about the supermarket fried chicken, that stuff made me sick.

Looney, I don't eat much, while the food sounds good, I have difficulty eatting. However I did have that hot white chocolate drink and I should have gotten a large.

Chris.. we add Jalapenos and call it Jalapeno Corn Bread
Tubes... love that 7 layer dip but we make our own (cause it makes more and is pretty)

I think this should get us back on track.


Chicken fried steak etal once was my favorite but after old age happened to me it just taste like grease
