So my dad and step mom went to visit my brother in NJ.  And well he is getting admitted down there right now.  He got an infection in the line in his chest.  I am going crazy I can't be there.  I need to be there.  There hasn't been a time when I was in the hospital that my father hasn't been there for me. And now here we are and my dad is in the hospital and I can't be there!  I am worried, when I had my infection I got so sick.  ICU and the whole bit.  My dad has never been sick like that. I don't want him to have to ever..... My dad has been sick for 6 days, 6 days! And everyone just kinda looked the other way!  I know my father is a grown man, but still. We have already gone through this shit with me.  Everyone should know better.  I have told him what to look for the moment he got that thing put in.  I told him the second he got chills and a fever and what not to go in.  Some days I tell ya....grrr...

So yeah please pray for my hard headed father....

Parents can be very hard-headed (I plead quilty).  I know you want to be with him and I am sorry you can't be.  I will pray they get this under control quickly and he starts feeling better.  Love you Manda   :cuddle;

Just found out they are admitting him to ICU now.  His bp is 70/47 and he is having chest pain but can't give him anything for the pain.  I don't know what to do, sitting around the house is driving me crazy.

As an old fart myself, I know what you must be feeling. Like my wife tells me give it to God,there's nothing you can do about it but make yourself sick. You have to believe.

Well update.  My father about 3 this morning started having a minor heart attack.  And is still going through it.  They think the infection is causing it.  They are running test after test on him. He is still up in ICU.  Everyone is telling me he is getting better.  Better my ass! He is having a freaking heart attack.  I don't' care how minor they tell me it is. It is a heart attack.  So I am hurt. I wish I was there.  But all I can do is pray.  Keep us all in your thoughts....thanks
