This is only my third post but i have some wonderful news to share.  i received a transplant on august 5 2009!  i met with the surgeon on july 14, received notification that i was placed on the list as of july 23 and got the call on august 4.

i came home on august 10.  i only used pain meds 3 x in the hospital.  was up and walking the next day.  my creatine was 3.5 when i went in-the next day it was 2.5 and then the following day it was 1.5.  the kidney was working so well that they had to give me potassium as the new kidney was flushing it out so fast.
