Just a little tidbit from the Cash for Clunkers website Cars.gov.  The security agreement which you must agree to and of which most do not even read those documents, they just check and proceed.

This application provides access to the DoT CARS system. When logged on to the CARS system, your computer is considered a Federal Computer system and is the property of the US Government.

Any or all uses of this system and all files on this system may be intercepted, monitored, recorded, copied, audited, inspected, and disclosed to authorized CARS, DoT, and law enforcement personnel, as well as authorized officials of other agencies, both domestic and foreign.

Now it also comes out that the Administration wants to lift the government ban on on tracking visitors to government websites, and potentially, collect their personal data through the use of cookies.

Which some believe already occurs on some White House sites due the fact that people who are not signed up to receive emails from the White House were suddenly being spammed by the White House promoting Obamas Health Care Plan.

Is that for the dealers, or does each buyer have to log into the system at some point?

Even if it applies to dealers the dealers put in All your information when you purchase a car.  Then the govt. has all the infomation in the dealers computers to use as theres.

The administration has since taken this (unpopular) waiver out of the website or so they claim.

And lets not forget that Bush set up the patriot act to PROTECT Americans to trace calls coming in from over seas not calls from my house to your house.  Obama claimed to be against this as he claimed to be against so many of Bush's policies only to rename the patriot act and make it much more invasive to us here at home.  But i ques that is ok??

Also its kinda funny how so many emails are going out to explain obamacare to people who have never went to the whitehouse website.  Exactly how did they get peoples emails?  This would be a real newstory if the medias went in bed with this administration.  It is completely ridiculous how two faced so many are.  You could crucify Bush hang him make hi look like Hitler ect ect.  Do it to Obama and all of a sudden it is wrong and sick?

How do you think any of us end up receiving spam eMail?

Zach i realize this. But i am imagining if Bush had tried selling one of his programs this way.  Would have been  holy hell to pay.
