Edited: Thanks guys for helping me find my post that was moved. I was worried someone may have objected to the issues raised. It can be found at "Transplant Stories". Post called "A bird in the hand is worth two in a bush". Thank you Epoman for your good example.

I submitted a post yesterday and it was up for over an hour at least before I went to bed, but now its not there. If there is anything that someone feels that I have done wrong, then I sincerely apologise in advance.

I was looking forward to sharing and benefiting from peoples  thoughts this morning, but I was surprised and saddened to not see it there. Especially because the effort put into the post for the benefit of all of us, and the fact that I have not received any communication as the reason it was taken off whatsoever.

Can I kindly request a reason why it was taken off by those responsible for doing so. The subject matter was about donor transplant and live donor issues that are serious issues from my heart and mind. And if I cant share my thoughts with my IHD family, then who else can understand me and what I and possibly others are going through?

Thank you for listening,
Hakki

I  am sure it wasn't removed.  Often they will move new threads to more appropriate locations.  I suggest you do  a  search and try to find it.  I read it and  want to respond and yet you posed so many issues I'll have to break it all down to manageable points.  Keep looking.

I am not sure what IWT is, but I do have total faith that the admins of IHD know where to put a post, I have been coming here for years and love that they put their time in to keep this a forumn that is easy to get around and find things..

You yourself stated there there was alot in one post, so the admins must have deemed it most approprite in the Transplant section.

BrightKismet not one post has ever been deleted, and we even had someone on here trying to sell kidneys, it was moved, it happens sometimes.

No threads or posts are ever deleted.  An admin or moderator may move it to the proper section.  That is to keep order and structure in the forum.   If you think there is a problem with posts or replys, please let a mod or admin know.

BrightKismet, You have done nothing wrong.  I had some of my first posts moved to the right section and still make mistakes.  Let me know if you still can't find your post.

I may not have done anything wrong, but I take responsibility. Because I have only been posting in “Home Dialysis” because of my current interest of HD, CAPD and CCPD, and my post was a discussion issue and not literal, I didn’t think the need to put anywhere else. Ok, a more accurate statement is, I didn’t think.   :oops; Though, after saying that, I don’t think I would have known, or chosen to put it in Transplant stories, especially when you have to go through “dialysis general discussion” section to get there.

But thanks okarol for putting it the right place for me. I will be very mindful and conscious to think about where to put my posts in future. There is an edited section info line of your post if it’s moved telling you where it is moved from. But, if your post is moved, there is no info telling you where it’s moved to. Another reminder that maybe we should keep a copy of what we have posted, at least the Subject title, so we can make a search where the post has gone walkies.

And I second the sentiment and hard work of the admin/moderators in their efforts and efficiency in managing the forums from people like me who drop the ball. They are like ducks in a pond, what we see is the graceful gliding in the calm waters. But what we don’t see is their frantic paddling under the water to keep this forum moving. I just throw the ball in the air and they move the net, and I score. What more can one ask for?  :thx;

I think we are all like ducks in the water --- calm on top of the water and paddling like hell below the water.  Good comparison Hakki   :2thumbsup;

Getting the heck out of town.

« Reply #15 on: August 12, 2009, 03:54:04 PM »

It has been a really bad 3 dialysis days in a row and boy did I get lots of misinterpretation this morning.  The only reason I was on the moring was to postponed the trip  to the dialysis center.

So by way the the fourth or fifth commen, I meant no disrespect to the moderator who movied it.  Actually, If you real you will see I said that was the likely thing.  and not deletion.

As to the propder section,  I had read the  post earlier and felt it was meant to be a comparison of dialysis and transplant, the whys and wherefores.
