Nala - Mom's Cat

« on: June 16, 2009, 08:15:55 PM »

I've been pondering whether to discuss this here, but felt if anyone is in the area of where 17 year old Brittanee Drexel went missing it would be helpful. She goes to school with my son - they are both juniors. I used to take her home from school. Our last ride home about a week before she went missing, she was sooo excited about junior prom. It is just very unsettling to know someone personally when you see them on America's Most Wanted.

We've lived in the same neighborhood for over 14 years. My son would see her a lot because she lives across the street from his friend and she'd come over when they were playing basketball. If you want to know more about the situation, google "WHEC 10 topix'" or "Brittanee Drexel." There are many sites talking about this. Another is websleuthes - they have some astrology stuff on there that is pretty disturbing about what they think happened.

Unfortunately there are a lot of personal attacks on the family and even against posters. I know I shouldn't read it, but am hoping to keep updated because there are links posted of articles and news. Geez, I used to buy her milkshakes and give her granola bars. We even talked about her family situation. It was my son's birthday and I invited Britt. My son said later, "mom, she won't come, she's too popular." He meant that with sincerity because they really like each other as friends. The first time I took her home from school over three months ago, she was walking with my son with the biggest smile on her face. I said "What's so funny?" She said she was just thinking of what I was thinking seeing her at 5' walk next to my 6'6" son.

Well, sorry just needed someone to talk to about this. I can't talk to the posters on whec 10 topix because there's always something nasty going back and forth there. Please say a prayer she is found.
